Meet Mrs. Paragas

Hello! My name is Leslie Paragas and it's really nice to "meet" you!

First and foremost, I am a wife and mom to 2 young kids. I have been married to my husband, Joey, for 6 years. We have a daughter, Calista, who is 4 (almost 5!) and is also in TK! Our son, Grayson, is 2 years old and enjoys looking at books and playing with cars. We recently moved to our first home in Corona and have been enjoying the last few months exploring our new community.

I received a B.A. in Liberal Studies with a focus in Literacy from CSU, Dominguez Hills. I also hold a M.Ed. in Cross-cultural Teaching from National University. I currently hold a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential in the State of California. Currently, I am working towards earning a Transitional Kindergarten Certificate through the University of La Verne.

I have been in the field of education for 18 years. I worked as a teacher's assistant in an early childhood program for the first 3 years of my career. I have spent 14 years as a classroom teacher in a brick and mortar school. Of those years, 9 years were in 3rd Grade and 5 years were in TK! I had the privilege of piloting the first TK Program back in 2014! TK has ever since been my favorite grade!

CAVA and Me
Last year was my first year working for CAVA as a 3rd grade teacher. It was a great experience and I enjoyed working with Learning Coaches and their student. I am truly excited to be back in TK to work with YOU!
